COPD Canada

COPD Canada is a non-profit educational society and patient advocacy group focused on providing support for people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Our goal is to increase national public awareness of COPD and to upgrade the information, services and support currently available to patients and their families. The group’s long-range objectives include the prevention of COPD as well as enhancing the treatment of COPD through education, patient care and advocacy.

COPD Canada - new national association

COPD Canada is a new national association for people who are dealing with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. The association has a mandate to provide patient education information to its members and to heighten national awareness of the disease. This new blog site is for communications purposes - for registered members of COPD Canada. Membership is free-of-charge but is restricted to people with COPD or their caregivers. Your comments and suggestions are invited. Thank you.

    I think this is awesome having a site designate for people living with COPD. My father has been living with it for nearly 6 years and although he doesn't have a computer I can get him the most update information.

    COPD Canada also publishes a newsletter that is called "Living with COPD". You can read it on their web site www.copdcanada.info
